The Wild Phlox, newsletter
of the North Central Washington Audubon Society, is published 9 times
each year.
Welcome to Teri Pieper, our current editor
of the Phlox!
"Hello, I’d like to take a paragraph to introduce
myself in my new role
as the newsletter editor for The Wild Phlox. My
name is Teri Pieper
and I grew up in East Wenatchee . After many of life’s
adventures and
years living other places, I decided to return to this
valley in December
of last year. It’s been a good fi t and I am
happy to be back. My interests
include kayaking, hiking, biking, gardening
and birding while doing all
the rest. I share my house with one dog (half
poodle, half Labrador ) and
I am a photographer. In the past I have worked
with the Coulee Corridor
to develop the Audubon birding map for the scenic
byway and I edited
the Central Basin Audubon Society Red Tails newsletter.
In the Wild
Phlox I’d like to highlight birds and their habitats
and explore further
the Nature of our region which includes Chelan, Douglas
, Okanogan
and Ferry Counties!
Please feel free to email or call me with
ideas for
the newsletter. This is the main method for communicating with
the
membership and your input is very valuable.
Thanks to Rich Scranton for his long time editing the
Wild Phlox! And
thanks also to Rich for continuing on the board. His
years of experience
are greatly appreciated."
